The Backroads Chambray Shirt is one of them. Lightweight and easy to wear in a rich washed indigo, it brings the familiar character of a favorite denim shirt without the weight or stiffness of traditional denim. Western-inspired snap buttons, a softly structured collar, and front pockets add just enough detail to make this everyday shirt feel special. Wear it tucked into jeans, leave it untucked and relaxed, or let it peek out beneath a favorite cardigan when the weather begins to turn.
Fit & Feel
Lightweight and comfortable with an easy shirt-like feel and no stretch. The washed fabric has the visual character of denim while remaining noticeably lighter and softer in hand.
During our wear test, the shirt fit comfortably and tucked neatly into denim without unnecessary bulk. The snap-front closure was an especially lovely detail in person, and its lightweight construction made it easy to wear beneath a cardigan.

Care
Machine wash cold. Tumble dry low.
Our sample laundered beautifully. After washing and drying according to the care instructions, we observed minimal to no noticeable shrinkage and the shirt retained its shape. Only light steaming around the collar and front pockets was needed afterward to return those structured areas to a freshly pressed appearance.
